As you are home in the evenings owing to the lockdown why not  carry out the basic maintenance and repair tasks at home by yourself rather than depending on the plumbers and carpenters? Many people have admitted that since last year after they have been at home owing to the pandemic, they have tackled several home repair and renovation tasks by themselves.

From fixing a light to weeding the garden there are many activities at home that you can do yourself. And if you are not sure about your fix-it know-how knowledge, you can watch videos online that teach basic DIY techniques at home but ensure that you abide by all the safety measures.

For example if you have to change your air conditioner's filter or clean the condenser coil of your refrigerator, make sure you take the necessary precautions. While working with the refrigerator vacuum off the dust and check if the gasket seal is making contact with the cabinet.
