Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has appealed to people to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.
A statement issued online by DBBS said: "The level of stock of blood units in the Central Blood Bank in Baushar according to today's date shows a decrease in most blood groups. Accordingly, we invite everyone to take the initiative and continue to donate blood, as the Baushar Central Blood Bank needs 100-140 blood donors daily."
"Blood donation times are from Saturday to Thursday, between 8 am and 6 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm. Please book your appointment to donate blood via WhatsApp at 94555648," the statement added.
