Weather alert: One dead in Oman

Muscat: A person, one of four missing in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate was found dead, the Royal Oman Police (ROP), said in a statement.

A statement issued online by the  ROP said: "The search and rescue teams in cooperation with the Police Command of South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, were able to find the missing person in Jalan Bani Bu Ali, who was found dead. Searches are still going on to find the other two."

Yesterday, the authority announced that three people and a woman were missing due to heavy rains and the overflow of valleys in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
