Muscat: Alizz Islamic Bank recently launched a new update for its mobile banking application, making bill payments even easier. The AlizzIslamicBank mobile application now has more utility service providers added to its list of bill payment facilities. The service providers added to the app include Awasr, Mazoon Electricity Company, Dhofar Power Company, Majan Electricity Company and others.With the new update, customers of these companies can now pay their bills conveniently through the app and also be aware of their upcoming payments.

Additionally, userscan now make international mobile top ups easily when they are abroad through the updated AlizzIslamicBank mobile banking application.

The bank's electronic channels, such as the mobile banking application, ATMs, online banking, and interactive teller machines provide an integrated and comprehensive delivery system. Customers can pay their bills, transfer money locally and abroad, pay their credit card fees, deposit cheques and carry out other transactions on these platforms. For example, when a customer pays their water, electricity or telephone bill via the Alizz Islamic Bank mobile banking application, the payment is made immediately and the customer does not need to wait for approval and he/she gets the transaction confirmation immediately. Alizz Islamic Bank has implemented state-of-the-art security controls to ensure the safety of its customers' money and their personal information.

Through this app, customers are offered the convenience of applying for a new account or card, processes instant transfers, pay all their monthly bills simultaneously with one tap of a button, request for a cheque book, issue account statements and many other features & services.

The app also offers location information of Alizz Islamic Bank branches and ATMs; and provides reminders for monthly bill and credit card payments that are due in addition to information on account balance. There are also additional tools such as prayer timings, Qibla direction, a Zakat calculator and a currency rates convertor.
