Environment Authority plants over 1,500 saplings in Dhofar Governorate

Muscat: More than 1,500 mangrove saplings have been planted by the Environment Authority in Dhofar Governorate.

The authority said in a statement: "The Department of Marine Environment Conservation, in coordination with the Directorate of Environment in the Governorate of Dhofar, implemented a campaign to plant 2,000 mangrove saplings in Khor Hino in the Wilayat of Mirbat, as part of the authority's national initiative to plant 10 million trees."
