ROP arrests nine expats in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested nine expats aboard three boats for attempting to smuggle large quantities of alcohol.

"The Coast Guard Police in Musandam Governorate, in cooperation with the Khasab Special Tasks Police Unit, arrested nine expats aboard three boats loaded with large quantities of smuggled alcohol. Legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
