DBBS invites people for platelet donation

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has appealed to people to donate platelets at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher.

A statement issued online by DBBS said: "As a result of the sharp decrease in the stock of platelets and due to the urgent need for them, we appeal to everyone to take the initiative to donate platelets at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher, where the Central Blood Bank needs 10 donors per day."
