Person arrested for chopping down wild trees

Muscat: A citizen was arrested for cutting down wild trees without obtaining a permit, in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate. 

The Environment Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate arrested a citizen who violated the environmental protection law by cutting down wild trees without obtaining a permit. A violation report was issued against him and the chopped wood was confiscated.
