DBBS urges people to urgently donate O -ve blood type

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has made an urgent appeal to the people with O- blood type to donate blood on Tuesday at Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

"Due to the presence of more than one patient who is in urgent need of blood transfusion, we appeal to the holders of O- blood type to donate blood today at Central Blood Bank in Baushar," DBBS said in a statement.

DBBS added that blood donation times are from Saturday to Thursday, between 8 am and 8 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm.
