Students help Environment Authority plant saplings in schools

Muscat: Wild tree saplings have been planted by the Environment Authority in a number of schools in Al Buraimi Governorate.

"With the aim of instilling and promoting a culture of environmental awareness among young people by involving them in various environmental programmes and activities implemented by the authority in partnership with public and private sector institutions and civil society, the Environment Department in Al Buraimi Governorate planted wild trees in a number of schools in the governorate with the participation of students," the Environment Authority said in a statement.
