Muscat: Under the patronage of Dr. Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development, Dar Al Atta’a Association celebrated the handing over of house No. 100 within its programme “My House is My Haven”.
Dar Al Atta’a Association has been operating this programme since 2003. During the past years, Dar Al Atta’a Association has built several houses for families so that they can lead a decent life. Dar Al Atta’a has also carried out maintenance of approximately 956 houses in the past.
Dr. Laila Al Najjar congratulated Dar Al Atta’a Association for the handing over of house No. 100 and for launching this initiative which meets the needs of society and praised the Association for extending help to various sectors and giving an opportunity of decent life to people.
Maryam bint Issa Al Zadjali, Chairperson of Dar Al Atta’a Association said that ‘My House is My Haven’ is one of the programmes of the Association through which we build houses and carry out maintenance works, as part of our belief that the house is the haven and a source of stable life and peace of mind.
“We have handed over 100 houses and behind each house there is a story of successful and happy-ending, grace be to the Almighty Allah,” she added.
