Muscat: The number of appointed job seekers as of mid-December exceeded 40,000, the Oman News Agency (ONA) said.
“As of mid-December, the number of appointed job seekers reached 40,594 of whom 5,910 are completing the procedures for their appointment, while the number of beneficiaries of the job security benefit is currently 10,305,” ONA said.
This comes as part of the efforts of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman to absorb job seekers in the public and private sectors through direct announcement of job opportunities, replacement opportunities, or areas of training associated with employment or on-the-job training.
