American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists honours SQU professor

Muscat: Professor Nicolas Woodhouse from Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) received Avicenna (Ibn Sina) Award for excellence service from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists – Gulf branch in recognition of his outstanding contribution in the field of diabetes and endocrine glands.
The award was handed over to him at the fourth annual meeting for the Gulf branch and the third clinical conference for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Professor Nicolas is the professor of endocrinology and diabetes at Internal Medicine Department at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences in SQU. He is also associate professor of metabolism operations in man and clinical biochemistry in pathology department at Sheffield University in the UK.
