Muscat: As part of its efforts to support Omani engineers in the energy field, Nama Group will sponsor a three-day conference at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre starting from June 6 to 8.
The conference, which will present 10 papers by Nama, aims to create an effective platform that contributes to building national cadres and competencies and exchanging technical expertise. The conference also aims to help young Omani professionals and engineers interested in the energy sector to be constantly informed of the latest developments in the energy and renewable energy sector.
In addition, the conference will provide the opportunity to communicate with the most prominent experts in the field of electricity and energy locally and globally.
It is worth mentioning that the conference will highlight the effective role of the electricity sector in the Sultanate and sustainable plans for the production, transmission and distribution of electricity.
It will also shed light on accelerating the development of a sustainable environment and the demand for energy and water in the Sultanate of Oman.
During the conference, a number of experts will present working papers that include the latest technologies in the field of production, distribution and transmission of electricity, renewable energy, energy efficiency, smart networks and their applications and asset management.
On the sideline of the conference, there will be an exhibition displaying the latest and best methods used in the field of energy and renewable energy, which contributes to the exchange of experiences and the promotion of the company among the relevant authorities to achieve the vision of Oman 2040.
