One injured in vehicle fire in Oman

Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) teams were able to put out a fire that ignited in a truck which led to the injury of one person.

CDAA said in a statement: “Fire and rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in North Al-Batinah Governorate responded to a report of an accident involving a truck (locomotive and trailer) in the wilayat of Al-Khaborah, which led to it catching fire. The teams were able to put out the fire, but it resulted in the injury of one person. He is now in good health.”

In another incident, the CDAA in North Al Batinah Governorate was able to control a fire that broke out at a caravan in the Wilayat of Sohar, without registering any injuries."
