ROP arrests man for crossing flooded wadi

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested a man for crossing Wadi Ahen in the Wilayat of Sohar on Thursday evening.

ROP said in a statement: “The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command stopped a Gulf person who did not obey the instructions of the policemen not to take the risk of crossing the Wadi Ahin stream in the Wilayat of Sohar while it was flowing this evening, and deliberately put himself at risk. He was referred to the judicial authorities to take legal action.”
