Ministry of Labour conducts tests for jobseekers in North Al Sharqiyah

Ibra: The Ministry of Labour conducted at the University of technology and Applied Sciences in the Wilayat of Ibra on Tuesday tests for a number of jobs in the various government units in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

Salim bin Khalfan Al Wahaibi, Head of the team for Management of Personal Interviews and tests at the Ministry of Labour, said that the Ministry of Labour has for two days conducted tests for 533 citizens from North Al Sharqiyah Governorate to fill 51 vacancies in a number of government units.

These units are affiliated to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, the Ministry of heritage and Tourism and the Authority for, SMEs Development Authority,   in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The two-day tests conducted for the candidates competing for the vacancies included multiple-choice questions and covered the specialisation, general culture and mental abilities, he added.

The tests were approved by the Ministry of Labour for jobseekers in various governorates by national cadres from among the employees of the Ministry of Labour in cooperation with the government higher education establishments and Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).  It is worth mentioning that the upcoming tests will be in Musandam Governorate on 12 and 13 August.
