Muscat: Oman National Transport Company "Mwasalat" announced that it will increase the number of daily trips to Salalah during the Salalah Tourism Festival 2016, starting from the third day of Eid Al Fitr from 3 trips to 5 trips a day. The company will provide a total of 225 seats a day, about 7 thousand seats a month.
The daily service during the Khareef Season will be from Muscat to Salalah and Salalah to Muscat at different times around the clock, where the first trip starts at 7:00 am in the morning and the last at 07:00 pm.
The company will offer special promotional fares during the festival, with free tickets for children under the age of two accompanied by their parents, and special discount for groups reservation. The fare details and timetable will be available via the company website as well as across all social media accounts or through the company's offices in all its branches in the Sultanate.
The company will be using as many of its new fleet on the mentioned service during Khareef Season, the fleet characterized by luxury and comfort with availability of restroom on board.
Moreover, Mwasalat will run SQU - AlKhoudh service during the third quarter of this year, as well, the company will launche Muscat - Duqm service in the same period. The company will be announced during this year strategic Masterplan 2016-2040 in addition to services expected to run through 2017.
