Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi to perform at ROHM

Muscat: The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) announced two nights in concert with one of Arabia’s giants in the music world, Hussain Al Jassmi.

Renowned throughout the world for his heart-warming anthems and charismatic personality, Al Jassmi will sing two concerts, both of which have sold out, on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2023.

Following a programme of some of his greatest hits, Al Jassmi is coming to the opera house for the second time, bringing his message of peace and stability, to share with audiences from around the world. Al Jassmi sings in a mixture of Arabic, Moroccan and English and has captured the heart of fans from across countries and across generations.

His career launching singles include Bawada’ak, Wallah Mayiswa and Bassbour Al Fourgakom. In 2008, Al Jassmi received the Murex d’Or award, under the category of ‘Best Arabic Male Singer’.

His most popular song is an Egyptian Shaabi song, called Boshret Kheir, written and composed by Amr Mostafa as a pro-elections campaign in Egypt. Al Jassmi has performed all around the world including a performance in the Vatican’s annual Christmas concert, becoming the first Arab to do so.

This weekend, Al Jassmi will perform on the stage of the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts at 7.30pm.
