Muscat: Clouds continue to flow over parts of the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar, with forecast of rain in these areas of the Sultanate of Oman on Thursday, April 20, 2023, said Oman Meteorology.
The General Directorate of Meteorology said: “ Forecast of rains continue, today, with the flow and activity of thunderclouds, and sporadic rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by active downward winds, in the governorates of the North and South of Al Sharqiyah and parts of the Governorate of Muscat, extending to Al Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas during the afternoon."

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and water resources, the Wilayat that received the highest rain during the period from 18 to 19 April 2023 (until 9 pm) was the Wilayat of Sur with 71 millimeter of rain, followed by Wadi Bani Khalid with 45 millimeter and Al Amerat with 18 millimeter.
