One worker dead in second sand collapse incident within three days in Oman

For the second time in three days, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, (CDAA), pulled out an Asian worker who died after sand collapsed on him while he was digging a well in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

A statement issued online by the CDAA said: ”Rescue teams of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate responded to a sands collapse incident that hit two workers of Asian nationality while they were digging a well at a farm in Al Muntreb in the Wilayat of Bidiyah.”
