Muscat: The centre of the tropical system ‘Biparjoy’, is 690 km away from the Sultanate of Oman, Oman Meteorology said on Wednesday.
According to the data showed by Oman Meteorology, the tropical system is a tropical cyclone CAT 1 in the north of Arabian Sea and it lays centered on latitude 21.7 N and longitude 66.0 E. The centre of the Tropical cyclone is 690 km away from the Sultanate of Oman and it is moving north towards the Indian and Pakistani coasts. The wind speed around the centre is estimated to be around 64-70 knots.
