Solid waste must be disposed in designated landfills, warns Municipality

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has urged the public to throw solid waste and rubble into designated landfills in order to avoid any legal accountability.

Muscat Municipality said in a statement: "Muscat Municipality in Amerat continues to remove solid waste and random rubble from residential neighborhoods and public squares in various regions of the wilayat, and clean the sites of remains and deformities."

 "The municipality warns that it is mandatory to throw solid waste and rubble in the landfills designated for it to avoid any legal accountability," the municipality added.
