MUSCAT: With the official holiday on Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) birth anniversary falling on Thursday, citizens and residents have plenty to choose from this weekend.
Kicking off the season is one of the greatest comic operas, ‘The Barber of Seville’ on 29 and 30 September at the Royal Opera House Muscat at 7pm.
Tickets are available now and can be purchased at the ROHM box office or via its app.
People can also experience the ultimate fusion of brunch, circus, and a mesmerising laser show at Crowne Plaza Muscat, OCEC on September 29.
Little Mermaid is also coming to Muscat and will be performing at the Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel on September 30, with their unique adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s. “Come and see the beloved fairytale, as it comes to life on stage at our Theatre,” read their poster.
Indian comedian and actor Vir Das is embarking on his international Mind Fool Tour, which will continue for seven months and cover many countries worldwide.
Das highly anticipated event in Muscat on September 28, 2023 will be held at the prestigious Al Bustan Palace - A Ritz-Carlton Hotel, promising an unforgettable evening of laughter and entertainment. Vir Das has gained acclaim for his stand-up comedy and has released four successful Netflix specials, including Landing, which premiered in December 2022.

Step back into the world of the PAW Patrol: The Mighty movie starring James Marsden, Iain Armitage, Mckenna Grace where a magical meteor crashlands in adventure city, and gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers, transforming them into The Mighty Pups. The movie is releasing on 28 September 2023. Then the Hollywood movie, The Creator is also releasing on 28 September, 2023 where a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence. Joshua, a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving over the disappearance of his wife, is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war-and mankind itself.
If you are a Bollywood fan, then don’t miss out Fukrey 3 which is releasing on 28 September 2023 starring Pulkit Samrat, Pankaj Tripathi, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha and Manjot Singh.
In the third instalment of Fukrey, the fukrays are going even bigger! This time they plan to take over Delhi, run for city elections and go all out. However, they haven’t got any money so they take on an international job to make a quick buck, which changes their lives forever.
In the first two films, we saw them using Dejavu & dreams, then premonitions to make money but now they’ve been gifted with a new and unique talent which is going to make them millionaires. The movie is a laughter riot, one problem leads them to another, which they solve in their own Fukrey manner.
