The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) on Wednesday operated a number of flights to return the residents of Al Halaniyat Islands to their homes after an evacuation mission that took place prior to Tej tropical condition in Dhofar Governorate. The mission formed part of efforts to restore normalcy to the island and reflected the preparedness of RAFO to deal with such adverse weather conditions, said Air Commodore Malik Yahya Al Nu’omani, Commandant of Salalah Air Base.
