His Majesty's greetings conveyed to Emir of Qatar

Muscat: Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, today received HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth at Lusail Palace in Doha.

During the meeting, HH Sayyid Theyazin conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Emir, along with His Majesty the Sultan’s wishes of good health and happiness. He also conveyed His Majesty’s wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of Qatar.

For his part, the Emir of the State of Qatar asked HH Sayyid Theyazin to convey his greetings and sincere wishes of good health and wellbeing to His Majesty the Sultan. He also wished Omani people further development and growth.

HH Sayyid Theyazin and the Emir of Qatar exchanged cordial conversations and reaffirmed the strong bonds of fraternity between the peoples of the two countries.

The meeting was attended on the Qatari side by Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Interior, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of the Emiri Diwan, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Culture and several senior Qatari officials. On the Omani side the meeting was attended by Sayyid Said bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Culture and Ammar bin Abdullah Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar.
