Many governorates in Oman receive light to medium rains

Muscat: A number of wilayats in various governorates witnessed light to medium rains, which led to the flow of wadis on Monday.

The villages of the Wilayat of Nizwa in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate witnessed light to medium rainfall, which led to the flow of wadis in Wadi Al Musalla, Wadi Kummah and Al Rahba.

Light to medium rains also fell in a number of villages in the Wilayat of Nakhal in the South Al Batinah Governorate, particularly on some mountains, including the centre of the wilayat , in addition to the flow of some wadis in some areas.

The Wilayat of Rustaq also witnessed rainfall concentrated in the villages of Wadi Bani Awf, Wadi Al Sahtan, Wadi Bani Ghafir, Wadi Bani Henai and the Niyabat of Al Hawqayn.

In the Wilayat of Al Awabi, rainfall was concentrated on the tops of mountains and in the villages located in the centre of the wilayat.

The rainfall led to the flow of a number of wadis, such as Wadi Bani Kharous, Wadi Safoun, Wadi Al Sahtan, Wadi Bani Henai, Al Hawqayn, Wadi Bani Ghafir, Al Tayeb, Al Maydan and Al Qabil.
