RAO commander receives commander of Iran Ground Forces

Al Jabal Al Akhdar: Maj. Gen Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman today received Brigadier Kioumars Heydari, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting was held at the combat training unit in Al Jabal Al Akhdar (the Green Mountain). It took place within the framework of attending the practical demonstration of the Omani-Iranian joint military exercise “Mountain Falcons”.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed several military matters of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by several senior RAO officers, senior officers of Iran’s ground forces and the Military Attaché of the Iranian embassy in Muscat.
