Muscat: The fifth edition of the Duqm Forum, titled "Blue Economy... The New Investment Destination," will commence on 20 October. Organised by the Al Wusta Branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, the forum will be held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center.
The event will be inaugurated by His Highness Sayyid Harib bin Thuwaini Al Said, Assistant Secretary General of the Council of Ministers for Conferences.
The forum will feature three key discussion sessions. The first session, titled "Pillars and Strategies for Investment in the Blue Economy," will explore government plans and strategies in shaping the blue economy investment landscape across various sectors.
The second session, titled "Blue Investment Opportunities in Food Security, Logistics, Tourism, and Renewable Energy Sectors," will focus on Oman’s infrastructure, investments, and the potential opportunities within the blue economy.
The third session, "Global Technologies and Experiences that Enhance Investments in the Blue Economy," aims to exchange ideas on the global technological solutions that can boost investments in the blue economy across multiple fields.
The forum will bring together senior officials, experts, and speakers from Oman and abroad to share their insights on the future of blue economy investments.
