Muscat : His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has granted Royal Medals to a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies at Al Baraka Palace on the occasion of the country’s celebration of the 54th Glorious National Day, and in appreciation of their role in performing their national duty.
His Majesty graciously granted the First Order of Oman to His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, and His Highness Sayyid Belarab bin Haitham Al Said.
His Majesty also granted the Oman Civil Order, Second Class, to His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asaad Al Said, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman, and His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Saeed Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, His Excellency Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri, Head of the Follow-up Unit for the Implementation of Oman Vision 2040, His Excellency Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi, Head of the Tax Authority, and His Excellency Sayyid Ibrahim bin Saeed Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam.
The medal was also awarded to His Excellency Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, His Excellency Sheikh Saba bin Hamdan Al Saadi, Secretary General of National Celebrations, His Excellency Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Marshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority, and His Excellency Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al-Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Her Excellency Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al-Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, His Excellency Eng. Saeed bin Hamoud Al-Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and His Excellency Dr. Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Saqri, Minister of Economy.
His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Her Excellency Dr. Laila bint Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development, His Excellency Dr. Mahad bin Saeed Baowain, Minister of Labour, and His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence, His Excellency Eng. Salem bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saeed Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and His Excellency Sheikh Ghosn bin Hilal Al Alawi, Chairman of the State Audit Authority Institution were honored with the medal.
