Europcar Oman and Bahrain is proud to announce its sponsorship of Vedangi Kulkarni, a remarkable 25-year-old endurance athlete, adventurer, writer, and public speaker, for her upcoming cycling expedition in Oman. Vedangi Kulkarni is set to embark on a thrilling journey through the scenic landscapes of Oman, showcasing her indomitable spirit and passion for adventure.
Vedangi Kulkarni is known for her extraordinary achievements, including becoming the youngest woman to circumnavigate the world on a bicycle at the age of 19/20, covering 29,000km in 160 days, mostly solo and unsupported. Her daring expeditions and unwavering determination have inspired many around the globe.
As part of our sponsorship, Europcar Oman and Bahrain will provide Vedangi Kulkarni with a Toyota Prado and a dedicated driver for 4-5 days starting from December 4, 2024, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey through the rugged terrains of Muscat, Sur and Salalah. Additionally, Europcar will offer a specialized space for the transportation of her bike as and when, supporting her logistical needs for this challenging expedition.
