Belarusian President welcomed with official ceremony at Al Alam Palace

Muscat: An official reception was held at Al Alam Palace to honour President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik welcomed President Lukashenko upon his arrival and extended greetings to the accompanying Belarusian delegation. In turn, President Lukashenko met with senior Omani officials who had gathered to receive him.

Following this, His Majesty escorted the visiting President to the podium of honour, where the national anthem of Belarus was played. The ceremony included a 21-gun salute in recognition of the President’s visit.

Earlier, an honour guard lined the pathway to Al Alam Palace, adding grandeur to the reception. Upon arrival at the palace courtyard, His Majesty expressed his pleasure in receiving President Lukashenko and wished him a fruitful visit that would strengthen cooperation and partnership between the two nations.
