Riyadh: The activities of the joint Omani-Saudi military drill “Solidarity 1” kicked off on Monday in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
The drill, which will be ongoing till 26 December 2024, is participated by a force from Oman Coast Regiment of the 23rd Infantry Brigade of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO).
From the Saudi side it is participated by a force from the 2nd Regiment of the 20th Brigade.
Solidarity/1 includes the implementation of several joint military plans and field training.
Conducting the drill comes within the framework of the RAO training plans to exchange expertise and enhance military cooperation between Oman and Arab and friendly countries. -ONA
