Muscat: The seventh edition of the "Discover Oman Ironman 70.3 Muscat" competition has commenced in Muscat. Hosted by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism in collaboration with Middle East Global Events, the event will take place over three days at Qurum Beach, attracting 1,100 athletes from 81 countries.
Participants will face a challenging course consisting of three stages: a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run along the picturesque coastline of Qurum Beach in Muscat Governorate.
The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism aims to showcase Oman as an ideal destination for hosting international championships. The country's natural beauty, favorable weather conditions, and diverse capabilities make it an attractive venue for a wide range of sporting events, attracting both amateur and experienced athletes from around the globe.
