Dhofar Governor offers Eid Al-Fitr prayers at Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Salalah

Salalah: HH Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, performed Eid Al-Fitr prayers at Sultan Qaboos Mosque in the Wilayat of Salalah this morning.

Musallam bin Ali Al-Mas’hali, Imam and Preacher at Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Salalah, led the prayers. In his sermon, Al-Mas’hali underlined the virtues of the blessed Eid, which, he said, embodies the values of tolerance, compassion and kinship. He highlighted the significance of Eid in consolidating social ties and instilling the principles of harmony and love among members of society.

The preacher also prayed to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and to bring back the Eid to the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab and Islamic nations at a time all relish abundant bounties and prosperity.

The prayers were attended by Royal family members, members of the State Council and Shura Council, dignitaries, officials, citizens and residents.
