Oman welcomes US President's announcement on lifting sanctions against Syria

Muscat : The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the announcement made by His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, regarding the lifting of US sanctions on the Syrian Arab Republic, a step that enables the Syrian government and people to achieve development and prosperity.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Sultanate commended the efforts of all brotherly and friendly countries in promoting stability, thus supporting the political and economic recovery of this brotherly country.
