Search underway for missing citizen in Dhofar

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman's authorities are actively searching for a citizen missing off a beach in Dhofar Governorate. The individual went missing on Tuesday after his fishing boat, carrying him and his brother, overturned in high waves.

The search involves the Royal Oman Police (ROP), Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), and local residents.  His brother was able to swim to safety and is receiving medical care at Taqah Hospital.

Authorities emphasise their unwavering commitment to locating the missing person as quickly as possible.
