Pakistani President receives Oman's Ambassador

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan received at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Islamabad, on Tuesday Fahd Suleiman Al Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the meeting, Ambassador Al Kharousi conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Zardari, along with His Majesty’s best wishes of good health and happiness to him. His Majesty also wished the government and people of Pakistan continued progress and prosperity.

President Zardari asked Ambassador Al Kharousi to convey his sincere greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the people of Oman.

The meeting underscored the advanced relations between the two countries and the shared commitment to push the joint cooperation towards wider horizon in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations.
