Muscat: The number of visitors to the Khareef Dhofar from June 21 to August 15 reached approximately 827,115, a 2.1 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024, when the number reached 810,085, according to preliminary estimates of the number of visitors to the Khareef Dhofar 2025 issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information.
The estimated statistics showed that the number of Omani visitors increased by 71.5 percent, recording 591,577 visitors, while the number of visitors from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries reached 143,431, and the number of visitors of other nationalities reached 92,107.
By August 15, 2025, 639,962 visitors arrived in Dhofar Governorate by land, while 187,153 arrived by air, marking a 15.5 percent increase.
It's worth noting that 46.5 percent of Dhofar Khareef visitors arrived between August 1 and August 15, 2025.
