Al Buraimi: Al Buraimi Industrial City, a subsidiary of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), signed a unified investment agreement on Thursday for a specialised industrial project to manufacture dry batteries. The facility will be built on plot A1050, spanning 12,118 square metres, with a total investment of OMR14 million.
The project is expected to create new job opportunities and contribute to the development of the industrial sector in the Al Buraimi Governorate, thereby supporting the national economy and its diversification efforts.
This initiative is part of a strategic plan to promote advanced industries in the Sultanate of Oman and encourage investments in modern technology. This move is aimed at opening new avenues for economic growth and supporting a sustainable industrial transformation.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Hamad Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi, along with several other officials from the governorate.
