Expats arrested on fraud, witchcraft charges in Oman

Muscat: The Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations has arrested two individuals of African nationality for practicing witchcraft and defrauding a citizen of over 8,000 Omani rials, said the Royal Oman Police(ROP).

The suspects had claimed to have the ability to heal people.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has issued a warning, urging the public to seek help from licensed health institutions and not to be deceived by individuals who exploit people's needs to commit fraud. Legal procedures are being completed against the arrested individuals.
