Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Health, represented by the Quality Assurance Center, has achieved a new regional milestone by winning the Gold Award at the Golden Initiative Certificate Awards Ceremony “Star of Excellence in Patient Experience,” organized by the Arab Hospitals Federation (AHF) for patient-centered care. This award recognizes the center’s efforts in enhancing the quality of health services, patient safety, and improving the patient experience in the Sultanate of Oman.
The center’s recognition comes in appreciation of its continuous role in consolidating the principles of quality and patient safety, and implementing best international practices that place the patient at the heart of the healthcare process, aligning with the Ministry of Health’s directions to achieve safe, comprehensive, and sustainable healthcare.
This achievement reflects the fruitful cooperation and integration between various healthcare institutions, and strengthens Oman’s position as a pioneering country in quality fields on the Arab level.
The sixth edition of the Golden Initiative Certificate Awards “Star of Excellence in Patient Experience,” organized by AHF, was held in the United Arab Emirate’s capital Abu Dhabi. The ceremony honored healthcare institutions that prioritize the human experience as a strategic focus and present innovative and sustainable models that enhance patient satisfaction and improve health outcomes. It witnessed the participation of 267 healthcare institutions from 12 Arab countries, presenting their innovative initiatives to redefine offering healthcare servies and the patient experience.
