GPT Group has brought the full range of Yango Group’s speakers, powered by the bilingual human-like AI assistant Yasmina, to more than 30 malls and standalone retail stores, significantly expanding access to culturally aware, intelligent technologies.
The Yango Yasmina AI speakers offer a unique experience that combines advanced technology with a wide range of localized features. The lineup features a speaker for every space and lifestyle:
● Yasmina Mini: a compact speaker delivering clear, balanced sound — optimal for smaller places of up to 200 square feet.
● Yasmina Midi: equipped with three speakers, including a subwoofer and two tweeters, it delivers rich audio for rooms of up to 300 square feet.
● Yasmina Lite: the smallest device in the lineup, it is available in three bright colours and comes with playful stickers for easy customisation.
Through the AI assistant Yasmina, the speakers offer access to a wide range of educational and entertainment content. Users can use the speakers to translate between English and Arabic, generate bedtime stories, or help kids explore complex ideas with age-appropriate explanations — all through natural voice interaction.
Yasmina can play Surahs and Adhans from the Holy Quran and tell the date according to the Hijri calendar, helping users stay connected to their religious practices. The AI assistant also knows the prayer times for any city in the world, including Muscat, Sur, Sohar, and more.
Yasmina also features whisper mode — if a person whispers to the assistant, it whispers back. This mode is perfect for quiet moments, such as checking tomorrow’s weather while everyone is asleep. Simply whisper, “Yasmina, what’s the weather tomorrow?” and the assistant will respond in a hushed tone.
