Avicen, Oman’s most trusted and leading healthcare brand, has announced the grand launch of the country’s first-ever Wellness e-commerce app. The launch was held on October 19, 2025, by H.E Hilal Alsarmi, CEO, Athar Health Endowment Foundation, in the presence of Ibrahim Ahmed Mohammed Ali Al Ghafri, Chairman, Avicen Group and the senior management, staff and well-wishers.
Recognized as the second-largest retail pharmacy chain in the country, Avicen has marked a historic step in redefining healthcare accessibility and convenience across the Sultanate with the launch of this new wellness app.
The Avicen app helps customers experience a fast and reliable way to shop for their wellness, right at their fingertips. Through this app, customers gain access to safe, verified, ethically operated services. The app offers customers easy access to skincare, baby care, personal care, women care, nutritional drink and supplements, OTC products, as well as vitamins and daily essentials, all delivered right at their doorstep.
On this occasion, Hilal Alsarmi extended his congratulations to the team at Avicen for their proactive and customer focused approach in developing the app and its remarkable user experience and hoped that this will mark the beginning of a new era in blending convenience with affordability.
