
Muscat: The Ministry of Education has launched the pilot phase of the “Tales on Sustainable Development” project, which aims to instill the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and principles in students, aligning with the values of the Arab region.
The project includes 20 schools from various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
The project, implemented by Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science in cooperation with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), seeks to nurture youth on community values, responsible citizenship, a love for knowledge, support developmental projects, and assist educational institutions in integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into school curricula.
