718 shooters from various governorates take part in shooting competition

Amerat: The traditional shoting competition organisssed by the Amerat Traditional Shooting Committee, under the supervision of the Omani Committee for Traditional Weapons Shooting, concluded on Saturday at the traditional shooting range in Amerat.

The event was held as part of the Muscat Nights 2026 celebrations and witnessed widespread participation from across the Sultanate.

A total of 718 shooters from various governorates took part in the competition, showcasing high levels of skill and enthusiasm.

The final day featured intense competition among the 66 shooters who qualified for the final rounds. Participants were divided into 22 groups, each consisting of 33 shooters, ensuring a fair and challenging elimination process.
