
Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued three Royal decrees reading as follows:
Royal Decree No. (27/2026) on applying the Uniform GCC Law of Industrial Regulation, after the same was presented before the Council of Oman.
Article (1) enforces the provisions of the Uniform GCC Law of Industrial Regulation attached to this decree.
Article (2) cancels the Uniform GCC Law of Industrial Regulation promulgated by Royal Decree No. 61/2008, as well as all that contradicts the law attached to this decree or contravenes its provisions.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced after 30 days from its date of publishing.
Royal Decree No. (28/2026) on amending some provisions of the Common Customs Law of the GCC States, after the same was presented before the Council of Oman.
Article (1) states that the amendments attached to this decree shall be applied to the Common Customs Law of the GCC States, promulgated by Royal decree No. 67/2003.
Article (2) cancels all that contradicts the amendments attached to this decree or contravenes their provisions.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from the day following its date of publishing.
Royal Decree No. (29/2026) on appointing non-resident ambassador.
Article (1) appoints Thamer bin Fayez bin Khalfan Al Alawi, ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Spain, as Oman’s non-resident ambassador to the Principality of Andorra.
Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
