HM convenes phone calls to UK Premier, Algerian President, European Commission President

Muscat —- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik convened telephone conversations today with Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom; President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.

During these calls, perspectives were exchanged regarding the military escalation in the region and its profound implications for the nations of the region and the wider world.

Emphasis was placed on the imperative of coalescing international efforts to cease the reciprocal bombardment and to revert to dialogue and mutual understanding, thereby safeguarding the interests of states and the well-being of their peoples.
