His Majesty discusses regional crisis with leaders from Uzbekistan, Tanzania and Switzerland

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today received telephone calls from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the President of the Swiss Confederation.

During these conversations, the leaders exchanged views on the developments regarding the ongoing regional war and the resulting repercussions for the security and stability of various nations and their people.

The leaders collectively emphasised the necessity of addressing this crisis with wisdom and foresight. The leaders stressed for an immediate ceasefire, de-escalation, and a return to dialogue and to come to diplomatic solutions in order to ensure regional peace.
