Oman weather: Wadis overflowing after heavy rain

Muscat: Wadis in Buraimi are overflowing following heavy rain in the afternoon, a weather enthusiast said.
“It rained for at least 30 minutes in the afternoon. Wadis are overflowing,” Bader Ali Al Baddaei, an administrator of www.rthmc.net, a local Web-based forum that discusses weather in Oman, said.
High tides predicted
Meanwhile Oman Meteorological Department is predicting medium to high tides near Musandam coastline starting tonight and continuing for three days.
The waves will be high during the next three days at the Arabian Sea and medium near Oman Sea, the meteorological department said in its prediction.
